The Inflatable Series #2: Swan

The Swan is the second installment in my largest project yet of 3 large paintings (70x100 cm or 28x40") of inflatable pool floats. The first being The Flamingo.

The Swan is based on an actual pool float, at least 2 meters in size, that I inflated in my living room for the occasion. The poolwater in the background is created by using dish soap as a non-conventional stencil; the only way to stencil the paint in an organic drip pattern.
